Boundary Oak Womens 9-Hole Golf Club Membership Benefits
Boundary Oak Women's Nine Hole Golf Club: Joining our club provides a USGA GHIN, membership in the NCGA and all it has to offer. Members also enjoy the benefit of belonging to a local club, participating in fun weekly golf events, social activities, and playing golf with women who also love the game.
Weekly Sweeps and Social
No matter your level of play, there’s a game on the schedule that will offer an opportunity for you to shine. Each Tuesday’s play is a mini tournament called Sweeps. Members contribute $1 to participate in Sweeps. The Sweeps game format rotates each week between Low Net (great for high handicappers), Low Gross, Low Putts or Closest to the Pin. Sweeps monies are collected and paid out each week to the winner.
Sweeps prizes are also awarded to those members that get a Chip-in or a Birdie.
On the first Tuesday of each Month, members gather after golf for a no-host lunch at the new Boundary Oak TapHouse. Golf stories abound. It's a great time to get to know your fellow golfers and be a part of the Boundary Oak family.
Monthly Award - FROG
The FROG Winner (Free Round of Golf) is calculated as the player that has the overall monthly low net. The winner receives a certificate for a free round of golf at the Boundary Oak Golf Course.
The Boundary Oak Women's 9-Hole Golf Club collects donations for the Golf for The Cure charity. This charity raises money for breast cancer research and development.
At the end of the year, awards are presented to the Winter and Summer EC Winners. The Eclectic total score is calculated using the lowest score achieved on each hole. This scoring method favors new golfers and is a lot of fun.
Members look forward to the Spring Tournament every year. The tournament is held on two consecutive Tuesdays in the Spring. It is a great opportunity to compete under strict tournament conditions. Awards are presented to:
- The Overall Leader
- The Leader in the next 3 flights
- Low Net
- Low Gross
Annual Social Events
The Boundary Oak Women's 9-Hole Golf Club sponsors three no-host luncheons each year; the Spring Awards Luncheon, the Golf for the Cure Luncheon and the Holiday Luncheon. The venue is beautiful and the food is always perfect.
