The Boundary Oak Women's Nine Hole Golf Club plays consecutive tee times every Tuesday starting at 8:00 am (7:30 am during the hot months of June-September). Play alternates weekly between the front 9 and back 9 January through November.
Full Members enjoy playing for sweeps winnings each week. Every player contributes $1 before their round begins to be used toward payouts. Games are flighted based on players' handicaps resulting in multiple awards each week.
Weekly competitions vary from Low Net, Closest to the Pin, Low Putts, Low Gross and assorted Special Event games. Members play for the Eclectic (EC) awards in which every player's lowest score for each hole played over 16 weeks results in a total low score, and a monthly FROG (Free Round of Golf) certificate based on low net.
Additionally, our Spring Tournament and the Club Championship are played annually with lots of prizes.
Social events are very popular! In addition to our weekly golf, there is a no-host lunch at the Taphouse on the first Tuesday of every month, a spring awards luncheon, Golf For The Cure awards luncheon and a holiday awards luncheon to wrap up the year.
Associate Members are members that because of work or other life situations can not play on Tuesdays but still wish to keep their NCGA GHIN. The Associate Membership level allows them to keep in contact with their club friends, participate in social events, and follow-the-field with club members when they can.
We Are Accepting New Members!
We would love to have you join our club! Joining the Boundary Oak Women's 9 Hole Club is a great way to make new friends and enhance your golf skills. If you are looking for a fun weekly morning activity with a group of great ladies, come check us out.
New members are asked to "follow the field" with us for a few weeks before paying to join so you get a feel for our club and so we can learn more about your level of golf - including pace-of-play, basic knowledge of the golf rules, and golf etiquette.
For more information and to get connected with one of our members, please contact the Membership Director, Debbie Burrows, at BOWGC9@gmail.com.
